Looking for a USB-dock

Hi im currently using a Zephyrus-G15 with a Ryzen 5800HS. While looking for usb docks I noticed most of them are thunderbolt which my laptop does not have. Can I just use a thunderbolt dock or does this affect performance. If so, are there alternatives for my situation? Im looking for 4 usb-A, Ethernet, Hmdi (2.0 or higher) or DP (1.4). The most important thing to me is that I can plug everything in with just a single usb-c connection so I dont have to deal with the hassle of plugging everything in again when I use my laptop elsewhere than my desk.

You cannot use a thunderbolt dock. There is no pcie connection and the display outputs won't work. Usb docks with display out use a integrated gpu which is barely enough for 2d desktop performance. It will not use your gpu.

 

If you need the gpu you need a usb dock with displayport passthrough as the g15 does have a usb c displayport port.
