Hello!

I need to recover my lost Data. I formatted the drive two times. Firstly i had Windows 11 where i had the data i want now. I went back to Windows 10 because i was thinking my PC Was slow because of the system (but it wasnt becasue of that) So i formatted the drive and installed windows 10. (When i was using windows 10, it was slow too) So i found out one of my components was dying. So i built a new because my old PC was so Old. So i formatted my drive to install windows 11. I forgot that i had files on my previous windows 11 and i need it. I tried to use multiple of File Recovery things but NONE of them found my Files. Is there any chance im getting my files back with something or are they lost forever?

If something exists that can help me, Please, let me know!

Thank you for reading this and have a nice day!

PS: Thank you for any help! i appriciate it! :)

I mean you formatted (quick format) which basically only changes the files to invisible and allowed to be overwritten. So that wouldn't have been a bad thing.

However you have since installed windows twice which means files have been overwritten twice potentially. The chances of getting stuff back here is basically next to none.

So it means my Data is Lost Forever, right?

The only other way is to give it to a data recovery service and hope for the best. Otherwise it's done for.

Let this be a good less to always keep a up to date backup in at least 2 other locations.

you could try a paid recovery service, but they're not cheap, and you do not have any guarantees.

Assume it's gone.

That´s bad 😕 But thank you for your help anyways. Im gonna try and check some Online Clouds if i can find at least A few of my data

Also make sure to do an offsite (cloud) backup. Something like backblaze for windows is great as it's 60 a year for unlimited.
