Ad on YT cranking my brightness

Hi
I just came across a strange thing: I was watching videos on YT and then I got an ad and my screen went to full brightness. I know that some apps are able to do this like if they have to check my train ticket in the app it'll automatically crank the brightness to ensure the other device can scan the QR code. But why did this happen with an ad on YT that kinda looked like a scam ad? I didn't know this was possible with YT.

Should I be concerned or am I fine? The device it occurred on is my Samsung galaxy A52s if this helps. After the ad it went back to my fixed ~15 % that I always have it
