Completed build. Need help on storage plz

I just finished my upgrade. However after i did a fresh installation onto a new nvme ssd, i did a partition for the os.

However when i go to "my pc" i only see the partition and the remaining (450gb) is nowhere.

I went to disk management and allocated the unused space as the D drive.

but the d drive is empty. I want that as the "main drive" and hold everything as default.

how can i make that default so that when i install new programs (lets say CPU ID) it will correctly go into that drive with the full correct settings?

for example, my D drive is completely empty. but my C (local drive) has program files, program files (x86), users, etc etc.
