id upgrade the gpu, depends on what resolution/ refresh rate you have, id go for a 3060 if you can find one for a good price, although that may be difficult. you may have better luck finding a used gtx 10 series or rx 5000 series gpu. (i belive the r9 390 is slightly slower than a 970, or 1060 6g, so anything better than that should give you a decent upgrade)

Why do you want to upgrade at all ? This computer seems fully capable of running all of the games you mentioned, unless you intend to play on 4k or 2k 144hz

well i think i wanna upgrade my gpu since amd has stopped releasing drivers for the r9 390. but im not sire how well my motherboard or cpu would handle like a new gpu like rtx 2060. @DemiGod

I wouldnt upgrade anything u listed.

While it would be nice to get a better GPU, the market is a dumpster fire right now and it is not a good idea to be buying one atm, u WILL be ripped of.

Perhaps, if u still have some HDDs in ur system u could consider replacing them with SSDs, even basic Sata SSDs are considerably faster.

Your motherboard doesn't care about what gpu you are using, you could use rtx 3090 ti for all it cares, and It will work fine, the only limiting factor of what gpu you can install is power supply, since it might not be able to provide enough power for a every powerful gpu. Your cpu should do fine with any modern gpu, maybe not the high-high-end, like rtx 3090 but rtx 3070 should run without any problems, just to clarify rtx 3090 would run fine too, but you might be unable to use full performance. Anyways, as someone mentioned, get a good SSD if you have an HDD, otherwise, don't upgrade anything right now. If you want to slowly build a new pc, buy a new AM4 socket motherboard and ryzen 3600 or 5600, with ddr4 ram, replace your old parts, and enjoy, it's not necessary, but if you have to upgrade something I would go for those parts. Also r9 390 being unsupported is not a huge deal, it should keep working fine for years to come, except, that the new upcoming modern games, might not be optimized that well without new drivers.
