USB on Power Off

Hello Everyone,

 

I have recently upgraded my PC and got a new USB microphone and RGB Mouspad. My computer has a glass front and is in my bed room so I would like to disable all glowy things when the machine is powered down.

 

I have already turned USB Power on Soft Off (S2) and Motherboard RGB Lighting on Soft in my MBs BIOS Off off in the Motherboard settings but my USB devices keep being lit up at night and my motherboard RBG does not turn off either.

Do  any of you know a fix to this? Is there a setting I am not aware off that needs to be toggled?

First, if you haven't already, make sure the BIOS is the latest version from this page:

https://rog.asus.com/us/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b550-f-gaming-model/helpdesk_bios

If that doesn't work follow the instructions in this video, since it's an Asus motherboard the BIOS screen should look very similar.

Thank you very much! That solved it. I didn't know about the EpR thing, that was what was missing.
