LGA 1700 does it need a separate bracket?

I'm starting my first ever build, and I got myself the i5-12600k with ASUS z690-P D4 mobo. I'm trying to install noctua's NH-U12S chromax.black which has lga 115x and 20xx compatibility. I know noctua ship out free mounting brackets, but that would take over two weeks to ship. Everything seems to fit normally except for three screws on the  bracket and now i'm wondering is it possible to use this mounting till they ship over the new one?

Thanks in advance.

Even if the motherboard has mounting holes for 115x, the z-height will be incorrect for 1700.  When I tried using my NH-D15 with the 115x secufirm2 bracket on S1700, the balance and mounting pressure was atrocious.  The noctua bracket worked fine with an Eisbaer AIO though (since it just screws in without spacers, although that's the case for both a 1151 and 1700 board identically).  I didn't bother testing the actual 1700 secufirm2 bracket with the NH-D15 though.

Probably depends where you are and what it is. I had Noctua customer service send me something else (because they are great) and it only took a few days. The brackets I heard talk of a couple weeks on the and I just order one and paid the $9 to make sure I could get it quickly. Had in a couple days. Amazon, Newegg, most places have those brackets in stock at this point. Also it's a complete kit, spacers and such, not just a the bracket on the back.

Must have been old stock. I just received 2 NH-U12S (not Chromax) from Amazon here in Canada and they both came with hardware for LGA1700. If your impatient just order a MP-78 from Amazon for $8US as that's the correct one for a NH-U12S.

Yes the z-height is different (Blue Spacers rather than Black) but the backplate and top plates now have 2 rather than 3 holes to accommodate the new socket mounting holes.
