Budget (including currency): $1000 USD (its ok if it goes a little bit over)

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Pretty much any games and school

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): i am upgrading from a laptop

Current part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nvgXmk

(i could not find the graphics card i chose on it so here is the amazon link)

(planning on using windows 10)

I am mostly wondering if everything will fit in the case and is compatible with each other.

This is my 2nd post about this after reviewing and changing based on some other suggestions, first post is here.

Cheapest sht i could put together while still being semi decent so theres upto 600$ for the gpu if you are fine with going 100$ overbudget, 3060 should be obtainable with 600$ but you might get lucky and find a good deal on a 3060ti

Srry basically no room for argbs here, though i guess you could swap the cooler to the vetroo cooler and have some lighting, but then youd have to solder the header for the rgb yourself cause its not soldered on this version of the board

Currently Newegg has restocked 6600 and 6600XT, 6600 goes for below 500$ and 6600XT for below 600$.

They're good options on current market.

you chose probably the best GPU given the circumstances: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0881YZJ45?th=1&linkCode=gs2&tag=pcp0f-21

This makes it about $1030

I chose that mobo as it supports your USB type C front panel header on the case

I chose a more powerful CPU and cooler, and a more reliable PSU

500GB SSD is not enough, 1TB is essential

The case is a good choice, although it is quite expensive, you want your case to last the longest out of all your components so it can support any future upgrades.

It's Amazon.co.uk, not com. What makes you to think that 1650 is good buy for 400 USD???

the link OP used was the UK version - this is the same product but US

https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-128-bit-Graphics-ZT-T16520F-10L/dp/B0881YZJ45/ref=sr_1_1?crid=R2I7T2GVSV0J&keywords=1650&qid=1641492638&sprefix=165%2Caps%2C248&sr=8-1

It is $330 which I never said was a good price, but honestly not bad looking at the market

- Mentioning that, going with an APU would also be a viable option:
