The audio issue/crackling doesn't happen all the time but in certain moments, in some games or when watching streams/videos. This is the only instance where I can get it to constantly make the sounds.. I've reinstalled my audio drivers for my DAC and AMP but still getting the same result. I've even went ahead and plug my earbuds straight into the PC and on the motherboard audio I still get the same result. To preference this the only thing that was previously on my build was the audio equipment and headphones so I know they work.

SPECS:

Audio Equipment: FiiO e10k

Headphones: Some Sony Earbuds because my headset broke. =(

MOBO: ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F

NVME: Crucial P5 Plus 1TB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND

PSU: Corsair SF Series, SF750, 750 Watt, SFX, 80+ Platinum Certified

CPU: 12900k (default clock)

GPU: 2070 Asus Super Turbo

RAM: DDR5 32 gb 16x2 4800mhz

OS: Windows 11 build 22523

Don't know what the problem is, but watching your video reminded me of the early days of World of Warcraft.  All those people running around like chickens with their heads cut off outside the auction house in Stormwind.  LOL, good luck,  hope  you figure it out soon.

I had a very slight amount of it when I was running with my headphones directly into the PC, also Win 11.

Now that I am using my DAC+AMP combo again it never happens.

Also I noticed that your windows version is a bit newer than mine, are you on the insider program by chance?

Woops I just noticed that typo: I'm on 22000.376  .... I'm going to try and update my bios and see if that helps alleviate anything, my second shot is to check my cabling. What DAC and AMP do you have by curiosity?

Oh man the good ole days; Albion Online is very similar to WoW with a mix of Runescape so it's a ton of fun.

I went to the Albion Online website and it looks very similar to WoW.  I will check it out tomorrow during the daytime.  Thanks for the idea, WoW has been getting a little old, doing the same stuff over and over again.  Thanks.

Good Luck.

Alright we're on the same version of Windows 11 then.

Seems odd that the problem persists through a DAC tho, as that is one of the things it's meant to eliminate.

Currently using:

DAC: Schiit Modi
Tone control: Schiit Loki
Amplifier: Swissonic HAD-1

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I just did a Bios update and still getting the same results. I'm going to go through my build tomorrow and make sure there's no cable interference I know my PCIE and 24 pin power cables are very close to each other so I'm thinking that might be a problem, we'll see.

That is not a bad idea.

Electrical interference can cause it.

Speaking of, is your PC grounded?
