Freeview Capture/Stream over LAN

Hi all,

Big first world problems!

 

So my Freeview cable arrives on the opposite side of the house, which I have decided against using as the living room. 

 

Essentially it would be much easier to have a box capture the signal and then stream a channel of my choosing over the LAN to my TV and potentially other Desktop/Mobile devices.

 

Is there any prebuilt solutions for this, or am I essentially looking at a PC with a TV capture card? I'm considering building a NAS in that room anyway, but would prefer to not have to run a full blown Windows instance on it! (No chance in hell I'm building two machines )

 

What are everyone else's thoughts? At this point, maybe I'd be better just streaming!
