I have a 10900K with a Z490 MSI Tomahawk, all I have done in BIOS is selected Game Boost, which offsets the turbo by +1, resulting in all core at 5GHz I have left voltage at auto, according to HWInfo max VCore did reach 1.40V, but only for a few seconds. At idle its around 1v. I understand that auto mode do often 'overvolt' the CPU but I don't want to do a manual 'overclock'. So, is leaving voltage at auto dangerous, surely the motherboard manufacturers wouldn't allow auto mode to go over the safe limits? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
