Man ive gone and really annoyed someone now, prime suspect is @ComradeHX but he is banned, basically after the whole yuri issue i told zappian that i didnt like hatsune miku at all, i had legitimate reasons and at one point i was gonna leave the club because of it. comradehx on steam sent me a few hate messages on steam and then blocked me.

 

But no it doesnt end at that, now he is using my name on other forums to tarnish the name of this forum.

 

Its all gone to hell, i really shouldnt have done what i did yesterday. ugh.

So since the poll thread had Service x Service on it, I started watching it.

 

Pretty funny, especially the beginning of episode 5, although I was like "oh you better fucking not do that shit" at first and then it was hilarious. (probably vague as shit, but I'm guessing people who have seen the show would know what I'm alluding to.)

No, its not a harem, from what I can see so far.

The closest thing it does to a harem is that there is a girl that some lady who likes cosplays would like to dress up and some other guy just wants to somewhat harass her in a joking way want to hang out with. They apparently are in some sort of rivalry for doing that though, or something.  which isn't a harem. maybe one character away from being a reverse harem?

I think innerfred is like the typical anime teacher, telling the class to shut the hell up, half of the class doesnt bother, one person may have died, there is that one person that is likely in love with fred here, the person that appears every few months says something awesome and disappears again and the bunch of no names that people forget that they exist as they arent main characters. Then there is me, the narrator that breaks the fourth wall too often.

I'm curious as to what that picture was that started all this shit slinging...  Either way, everyone should stop being babies and listen to the mods and leaders of the club. Doing otherwise will most likely cause this thread to go down paths I'd rather it not.

 

No, I'll have myself banned so I can't come back. I only reply to anime in the first place, so that's the point. It was hardly something to be banned over, but seeing everyone's ultra conservative views on the matter alongside their morally elitist attitude only solidifies my desire to stop coming here. Shit forum, shit rules, shit community. There are members that have flat out went on paragraph by paragraph attacks on other members, and constantly sling shit in passive aggressive ways with each comment they post in response to another. They aren't banned. But god fucking forbid you post a cartoon of girls kissing. It's disheartening that this is what deserves the attention of mods and not that bullshit. If it's spam it can be deleted, but I can probably pull up tons of shit in the anime thread that could be construed as "ugh pornography" or close to it if it were glanced at momentarily.

 

What the fuck does "NSFW" mean when people who are complaining about it aren't suppose to be using the forum to begin with? On other boards NSFW is generally reserved for content that can ACTUALLY be damning if a boss finds it, ya know, ACTUAL pornography. A softcore yuri gif is awkward but it can be explained. If you are at work you shouldn't necessarily be looking at the anime thread in the first place. You aren't solving someone's build problem and you aren't helping someone pick a part, so there's no proper justification. You are using social media when you shouldn't be. Get the fuck off of facebook.

 

I know I'll receive flak for this unpopular opinion, where somebody will say something in some smart ass tone "well then leave". I don't really give a shit if the mods or "leaders" or any other authority someone feels the need to point to for confirmation says otherwise. It's fucking stupid.

I'll have to apologize on behalf of those members you believe have a elitist attitude. I do not condone the actions of some of the people who were bashing other members because I don't see any benefit in doing so. Some things are not in my power to enforce so I leave it be unless it requires my immediate attention. I expect our members to know whats acceptable and whats not acceptable, this club was created to discuss and potentially share our interest in anime with others and whatever I do in regards to the club is what I think is best for it, I'm open to criticism and I do take what you guys tell me into consideration so please do let me know preferably in a PM. 

 

I'm not very familiar with exactly happened but from what I'm told I understand that members were posting nsfw or borderline nsfw content. After looking at a cached version of the page I did see what is deemed nsfw in the thread. Now I'm one of the repeat offenders for starting gif wars here but I don't post nsfw/borderline nsfw content when I do. The purpose of not posting stuff that's nsfw or borderline nsfw is so people who potentially may have a interest in anime the medium of entertainment can join in with us and talk about it. I wouldn't want people who are just getting their first impression of anime to see a bunch of nsfw gifs posted in the biggest anime related thread on the forum right off the back. A occasional nsfw post here or there is honestly completely fine with me but a whole river could cause problems. 

 

Nothing wrong for holding a unpopular opinion, in fact I feel like those who hold a different opinion should indeed speak up about what they think. Now on to the case of you leaving, I'd prefer you not leave the us over what happened because I do value your posts about our weekly discussions and anime related discussions here in this thread. Ok. I used to hate brown switches. After trying out blue switches, I love brown switches now.

I went straight to browns for my first mechanical, no regrets.
