Hi, I'm having trouble booting up a system I'm not sure I built correctly. The GPU gets power and has two green LEDs indicating the correct PCI-E cables are plugged in, but when I turn on the PSU only those two LEDs on the Video Card light up. All the slots on the bottom of the motherboard are filled except for the COM, TPM, and two unused USB ports.

Here's the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Dracomelx/saved/4fYT

What's the problem? The build looks good to me :)

Edit: Just saw you edit it.

Make sure that all your connectors from your power supply are plugged in correctly. It seems stupid but is a common mistake.

My Current Build:

Intel i5 3570K @ 4.4GHz 1.11V, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, Asrock Z77 Extreme4, Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB, Asus GTX 760 DCII Overclocked, Corsair CX600M

Yeah, like Wtalk2 said. It seems fine. Outside of a few details, that's practically my PC.

The problem is booting. There's no beep and the fans don't start, only the GPU looks to be getting power

Edit: how can I make sure they're all plugged in correctly, I tried to make sure but I'm not completely certain. Is there a guide to cable management and getting everything plugged in?

Maybe MoBo is DOA? Ensure the 24pin and CPU power connector are hooked up all the way? Potentially a faulty PSU? I dunno much about that sort of diagnosis, but it's a start.

You might have gone a little under wattage on the PSU.

He could've gone higher but 600W should be fine for the build, especially to be able to just boot.

True... DId you put the CPU and RAM in? I'm being serious. I forgot to put my CPU in once and, uh... Yeah... I felt like a moron or a couple of days.

There is an 8-pin power header (ATX_12V) between the cpu and rear i/o panel and a 24 pin power header on the long edge near the memory slots. Both need power. Make sure that the cpu cooler fan is plugged into CPU_FAN header (near the 8-pin power header). Any other system fans should be plugged into SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2.

So I accidentally skipped putting stand-ins into the case and screwed the mobo directly into the case. The case is made of glass fabric pcb and says it has electrostatic protection but I'm afraid I probably short-circuited the board. Help

That really sucks :/ You can try installing it with stand-offs and hope it works and if not see if you can return it and get a new one for free. (PS don't tell them you shorted it out when you return it, just say it didn't work when you plugged it in.)
