what?

Aren't those the exact same card...?

I assume you meant a different GPU, because it would be idiotic to ask whether you should pay more for a product.

Or does he mean the SC vs non-SC?

I meant 760 I'll go fix that.

770 but if your locking for the best price 2 performance the 780 is the way to go. its expensive but it mops the floor with the 770 and its also good with 1440p and 1600p gaming if your willing to turn down a few of the settings. Its hard to suggest a 770 when you could pay a couple hundred bucks more and get a way better card. if I'm wrong please correct me. :)

We all got left behind.

For 1080P, a 760 will run any game very well, a 770 would be just to get 75 instead of 60 fps and epeen.

For BF4 on ultra with maybe turned down AA you're looking at 60 FPS.

But how does it handle 1080P gaming with a second auxiliary monitor I want eventually get another one.

That will have little to no impact on the in-game performance. I had an auxiliary monitor and lost 0-2 FPS maybe.

But how soon will I need to upgrade if I got a 760 over a 770 or 780?

It just depends on if you aren't happy with how it's performing in games. As long as you are playing in 1080P you should be good in most games, with the exception of things like Star Citizen.

@Yummychickenblue

760: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2763-KR

770: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2774-KR

Here're the cheapest cards for each that are in stock on the EVGA website and the difference is $90. I say it's not worth it, but you just have to look at comparisons and make the decision yourself lol

But then again I recently rewatched @LinusTech's video about lower end products and he basically said "go big or go home"

So @TheNinjaNextDor would recommend the 760 but what would you recommend @LinusTech?
