Hello

I need to buy a router and I need help because I don't know what to look for. So I need recommendations of what to buy.

I live in a small apartment of 39 m2/419 ft2 and the internet is 1000/1000mbit and sometimes I game on wifi.

And about the budget I don't know, is it worth paying alot in that case what do you get or what is a fair price?

The devices I use for now is only a ps4, but in the future I will buy a new gaming laptop and maybe a ps5.

That's the only relevant information I could think of but if there's anything else just ask 🙂

Your devices that use wifi? List it, might be a good start to know exactly of what you need.

Depends, if your device support WIFI 6 already and if your budget's there, perhaps could go for there.

You don't need anything too special for that kind of setup, but you should definitely get a WiFi 6 (AX) router. Even if not all of your devices are WiFi 6, yet (for example, PS4 is not, PS5 will be), you'll still benefit from better coverage and reliability on older devices. Additionally, WiFi 5 isn't quite capable of carrying your full downlink in real world usage, but WiFi 6 should be (when both device and router are WiFi 6).

Other than that, just find something with good reviews. I will personally say that I would avoid Netgear, as their consumer routers tend to be utter garbage, and I've personally have good experience with TP-Link.
