My PC starts up fine, I enter my pin, and then Windows crashes. I have restarted many times and every time it does one of these:

- black screen with nothing on it. I can move the cursor around but can't do anything.

- my desktop is there, but none of the startup programmes load, most of my icons have blank pages, and I can't click anything. Or I click one thing and I get the error "Program not responding."

I've tried a fix where you power off during startup twice and restart - windows said it was automatically fixing itself, but it's not made a difference.

RIght now my PC has been on for half an hour and my startup programmes are trying (failing) very slowly to load themselves.

I managed to open task manager eventually and noticed GPU at 100% despite no programs running really. Not sure if that has any relevance. It's fine now (last photo is the task manager right now)

My PC was fine yesterday and I haven't done anything since in terms of downloading anything, updating anything etc. so dont know what's gone wrong today.

Any help or advice would be amazing thanks.

I don't even know where to start here... can you download a windows 10 iso and reinstall the whole OS(with keeping your files and apps)? also reinstall your GPU drivers just to be sure...

I think that's what I am gonna do, get a fresh w10 on a USB drive and try to reinstall. I managed to get the settings open and click on the reinstall but it's been stuck on "Getting things ready, this won't take long" for 15 mins. Will give it a bit longer than try to install via a drive.
