Home Server question

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

Game servers normally don't normally use gpu power, so the gpu won't help you here.

And you really can't just convert a program from using a cpu to using a gpu, as they specailize in different tasks.

Setting up a Home server for gaming, I have the basics done and ready. My Question is I have a GPU that I'm not using, is their a way to set it up to support the game server ? I know when setting up Minecraft servers in the past they seem to only use the CPU. Is their anyway to have the GPU help at all ? Would like to put it to use instead of selling it.
