Can Virus damage encrypted drives

This really depends.

 

If the drive is unlocked it normally behves like a normal drive, programs can read and write to it without a issue.

 

You also need the virus to be running, a virus executable isn't. issue, unless its started(but there are lots of tricks to get it running)

 

EDIT: you really should try to remove the virus if you think there might be one, no reason to risk it here. Id get a offline system to scan the drive if your unsure.
