Windows 10 Safe Mode wont accept any password

tonton

After reseating my M.2 drive as a troubleshoot to why my Windows wont boot, I ended up with a BSOD of "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED". One of the solutions I wanted to try required me to open the Command Prompt, opening it needed a password. I'm aware that the PIN wont work and you need to use a password that I used before any PIN however the issue is that I've never used a password and used one time passwords that Microsoft emails you. Is there a way to fix this?

Note: I only have one account on the PC and its the Microsoft account one and no local admin accounts were ever created.

Given the issue you were having and now this, you should format and reinstall Windows.
