ICC Profiles Database

DISCLAIMER: It's generally NOT RECOMMENDED to use ICC profiles that were created on a different display. Factory calibration is something that is different from unit to unit, even when it's the same model. ICC profiles can do just as much harm as they can do good when you're using one that you downloaded online. For the same reasons it's also not recommended to go after "recommended settings" or copy the settings a reviewer used. They can differ vastly for your unit and can actually make it more inaccurate.

Of course there is no real harm in trying one out. If you don't like the results you can just disable it again.

If color accuracity is of ANY concern to you, then you should have a calibration device either way. Then you're able to create your own ICC profiles custom made for your displays and you're completely independant of how good factory calibration is.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

It saved me sometime while looking for ICC profile for my Samsung Odyseey G7 C32G75T.

I hope this topic get pinned so anyone visiting the Display Section forum see it.

ICC profiles are ok if the factory calibration is just THAT bad, however it should be noted that every single monitor unit, even those of the exact same model, will require slightly different calibration settings, as such ICC profiles should not be used in place of a 'proper' calibration.

In addition, not all programs will use the windows ICC profiles, as such during a normal calibration you should calibrate the monitor itself manually using its OSD to the best of you ability getting as close to accurate as possible then use the windows ICC to fine tune.

rtings also include their ICC profiles for reviewed units.
