Lol. How can Apple compete with established watchamakers if it looks like a mini ipod with a watch strap. The Moto 360 pretty much the only promising thing so far that actually looks like something you would want to wear in public. I think most people can agree on that. 

 

A round screen would freak people out and confuse them

Several thousands of dollars? I would rather buy a Rolex, at least it won't look like a kid watch. Also I bet it will be the latest fashionable tracking device for quite a time

What possible use would a "powerful" smart watch have? You won't be gaming or doing anything intensive at all on the thing. As long as the interface itself is snappy and fluid (which it will be because its iOS) then it's acceptable.

Design and style matters more when it comes to watches, I haven't seen any smart watches so far that I would wear on my wrist.
