Yea definitely availability wasn't very good at launch, but so was Ryzen 5000 at launch so we'll see how it pans out over time. I think that this was a really good step for Intel though because it adds a new architecture to the desktop space (p and e cores). The entire having p cores for you're main task and e cores for background sounds like a good move for smoother performance in games. Although we've had this in phones for awhile so I don't what took so long.

Well, sure. I wasn't faulting Alder Lake specifically for that. My point was that Intel showed up with the right product at the wrong time. DDR5 is too nascent at the moment, and the board partners are apparently not overly interested in making 600 series chipset boards with DDR4 support. By the time one or the other works itself out, there will be hard competition in the form of Zen 3D or even Zen 4/13th gen. In short, Alder Lake is awkwardly placed in a big transition and is probably going to be relegated to the dustbin of history as result.

Do you have an opinion on my motherboard as someone said above?

Get a strix if you got cash and want RGB. It's a bit pricey for what you get, especially if you compare it to the TUF Gaming series Asus offers. TUF X570 Plus will get you what you need. Strix x570 F has an additional x16 slot and fan header. Both have wifi variations.

Sounds good, can you link me to the wifi version of the Strix, as I am having trouble finding it.

Edit: Nevermind Strix x570-E right?

There is also the Gaming Wi-Fi II version, what one should i choose

Strix x570-E vs  STRIX X570-E GAMING WIFI II
