I have to admit that as a Linux user who uses KDE specifically, it's great to see Linux getting this much exposure. On YouTube, with LTT, Linux has become more of a hot topic. And because of that, fixes are already in the works.

Now we just need more hardware vendors to support the platform; and it shows that Nvidia also needs to take that stick out of their ass already. Because this, NVIDIA X Server Settings is lacking, and this, Window movement in Mint while a game is open is laggy, seem to be related to Nvidia's own short comings for barely supporting Linux in the way it should be supported.

Given all my former Nviida issues, Nvidia is the reason I switched to AMD because of their suck support for Linux. Ironically, AMDs drivers are terrible on Windows. Or so I heard. But AMD has been a dream for me for the past year since I swapped out Nvidia for it. Never buying a Nvidia card again.

I was hoping Linus could recommend Radeon GPU over Nvidia if they want to try Linux to make Jensen butthurt a little and improve Linux support but he didn't. 😂

It'll be nice if one of them were using Radeon GPU though.

That alone would make a world a difference for one of them. The ease of just plugging in the GPU and nothing else is enough to spoil anyone; which is what AMD brings to the table. No screwing with anything. For this reason, all of my systems use an AMD GPU now. Or Intel's onboard at the very least. 😉

But unfortunately, Linus and Luke are hardware enthusiasts. And given the popularity of Nvidia on Windows, I am not surprised their GPU of choice is Nvidia.

Dolphin now finally asks for your root password to change files your user doesn't own: https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kio/-/merge_requests/143

This is something @LinusTechcomplained a lot about on his videos.
