cpu cooler mounting issues -Poll-

Im doing a pc build for a friend and apparently he bought an h50 when i thought he bought a hyper 212 evo, i was fine with that its just the h50 dosent support amd mobos and he went with a 6300.. so the question is what should I do, return it? find some way to ghetto mount it? or is there any way i can buy mounting hardware for it that is amd compatible?

mount it with the hardware that you can get for it.

AMD is using same mounting mechanism for many years. So there shouldn't  be any problems mounting H50.

 

That is for am3 mate...fx 6300 is a am3+...

 

fx 6300 is a AM3+... :)

all i know is it didnt come with amd mounting hardware and it says it only supports intel on the box
