Make sure that you can do this based on the distance between the fan and your side glass.  With my NZXT H510 I had to remove the second fan on my NH-D15 otherwise it didn’t fit (using LPX RAM). I’ve actually run it with one fan ever since even though I have a new case. It doesn’t appear to affect CPU temperatures too much (maybe by a degree or two).
