Dual channel Lpx ram 16 gb recommendation

 I just got confused with ram sticks.

 

so I want 16 gb of ram in 2 X 8 way , does it need to have both ram sticks to be dual channel to be best? i want lpx ram sticks . can you clear my doubt and recommend me ram?

I did that for my own amusement. Cause you left out all the important information.....

 

What is your CPU? Maybe 3200mhz memory would be better for your budget?

You should get better memory than LPX then.

 

I'd get this kit for my 5800X. It's 110$ But a good fast kit. (B-Die)

Mine is the Red on black version. Same kit though.

I just dropped that kit into my cart. Looks in stock to me. Limit of 5 kits.....

 

I think the RGB kits you have to move the fan, and only up a few millimeters.

when i select black color it defaults to higer cl and speed

That is the black kit. G.Skill doesn't come all black like you want it.

This actually brings me back when we used to paint our green boards. (litterally the motherboards where green or ugly brown, pinkish red sometimes... god awful) and show off the LED glow before RGB became a thing. Late 90s in to early 2000's.

no man what im saying when i click on black it is changing to ddr4 4400 and cl19 and price to 177. do you know if corsair vengence has 16gb dual rank kit?

I know.... Black and white at 3600mhz is what they have. There isn't an all black kit....

 

Not sure about the vengeance kits. I have a couple, and I don't like them. They OC like crap. Generally SK hynix modules. Which will work, just at much looser timings in most cases.

Well, I'd have to say that I've been Into gaming since VooDoo 3D. So AGP, slot processors, Socket A.

 

Then got into overclocking about 2004 when I purchased a new shiney FX-55 processor. It was fast man. Single core, 2.6ghz. Rounded up 2x 7600GT's in SLI and even had an Ageia PPU.

Well it's 110$ because it's B-Die memory. A tier quality memory kit. 

The LPX and Vengeance would be like a C tier in comparison. (65 bucks)
