Looking for graphics card Thermopad thickness

Hello LTT community!

2 years ago I got a second hand GV-N970WF3OC-4GD (Gigabyte GTX 970 WINDFORCE 3X Gaming OC) Graphics Card. It was bowing a little bit, I suspect they used wrong thermopad thickness when they refurbished it.

 

Now one of the fan started to rattle, so I went and get some replacement fans. I figure since I am taking the card apart, I want to replacing the thermopad and fix the bowing issue... 

 

But does anyone know how thick the thermopads supposed to be? or maybe just get some 0.5mm pads and stack them if they appear too thin?
