I have a i7 9700k Processor, and a GeForce RTX 2080 Super. I play rust consecutively and have come to realization that my frames are now dipping between 20-60 80% of the time, I have my in game graphics settings beyond low, this has never happened before and makes the game almost completely unplayable. I wanted to try to Overclock my CPU and GPU but I believe I messed up in the making. Although I may have messed up the FPS was still beyond low way before that, also my actually PC is very laggy, Google, YouTube, and etcetera. All of my drivers are FULLY up to date from what I know. I am very unhappy I have come across this issue and would love the support from the LTT community. My discord is ✞ b l oo d y ✞#6666 JUST IN CASE.

What are your temperatures like?

You say you tried to OC and somehow maybe screwed up - have you tried to reset the BIOS to factory defaults? If you haven't, do it and check.

I was getting around 80 degrees celcius, and yes I have now reset them to factory default but do you know any way you could help me PROPERLY overclock my CPU and GPU?

80º on the CPU, the GPU or both?

Ingame or idle? Please tell me that's ingame...

Would this be easier if we were in a VC and I was sharing my screen it's okay if not but me and you can both agree it would be much easier, thank you so much for your time Rauten.

I'm at work and basically skimming the forum every now and then. So no, VC is not a thing for me. Or Discord. Or anything else.

You are allowed to do some of the work yourself 😛

Just download HWiNFO, play a game for 15 minutes or so, or until it starts lagging, check reported temps and write them here
