Windows 8.1 Bugs

So who else here has to deal with all the bugs Windows 8 has to offer. I get kinda mad, I have a couple of .dll errors I havent been able to fix yet. Theres a bunch of little quirks with programs and windows metro apps just hate me.

Mine works good, no bugs.

Yeah, idk, im going to do something in Safe Mode with the .dll files i found online. Its supposed to made windows run through and fix all of them

If you're missing .dll files then you might need to download Directx and Visual C++ 2012 from microsoft's website. 

You should be able to find them easily. That will fix your bugs with missing .dll files because those packages have each and every .dll file you would ever possibly need.

Windows 8, 8.1 and 8.1 Update 1 works fine on all my systems, even on my 5 year old laptop.

 

You have to be specific on what DLL you are missing, but usually, in most cases its like Xquisite said:

Of course, the version you need depends on the dll error that you get.

 -> .NET 3.5 Framework (4.0 is already included in Win8)

Open Programs and Features panel. On the left column, click on Turn Windows feature on or off.

A panel will show, check the box: .NET Framework 3.5. Click on OK.

Your computer will need to restart after.

 

 

Normally, the program or game you install should include all these files so you have nothing else to do. If they are lazy, just make it include and run the above package installer It's just that sometimes, some developers are extra lazy, and you have to do it manually.
