Swapping an RTX 3070 for a 6800XT

So over the next couple of months I'm going to save up for a 6800XT and swap out my RTX 3070. (keeping for stream/secondary PC) and I'm wondering what the process is for simply plug and play. So I'm making sure that swapping the GPU's over won't cause any issues if:

 

A) DDU the current Nvidia drivers

B) Remove Shadow play and any other proprietary software that needs to be removed (plz lemme know if there anything hiding in files that needs to be removed)

Just make sure to do A) in Safe Mode in order to avoid any problems.
