Different windows to use different inputs

So sometimes when my friend is visiting me, we want to play some games together but as some of them don't have local coop we want to open the same game 2 times, we have this step achieved, but we can't use 2 different inputs (keyboard and mouse and controller) with different windows. Whenever one window has focus, all inputs go into that window but we would want to split K&M to one window and controller to another one.

 

Is there a way to achieve that?

it could be done so long as one instance supported a controller and another instance supported only kb and mouse. But if both instances support both then the window in focus will use those devices as a computer is intended to have a single user and not multiple.
