Hello, first time builder here. Due to the extreme Video Card prices currently, I have decided that I will build a Rig with an IGPU for now and continue to research and later upgrade it with a decent GPU instead of buying sub-optimal parts now and overpay for a below-average Graphics card. The IGPU-Build will offer adequate performance for my needs and still be a somewhat good price.

Below, ive included the PcPartsPicker Part List and I would like some input on some questions:

  1. Im not sure yet whether I should go with the Ryzen 5 5600G or the Ryzen 7 5700G. Both are good CPUs and I am ready to pay the additional 75 bucks for the better Ryzen 7. But my concern is that I wont be able to use the powerful CPU to its full potential. So my question or more like request would for someone to look over my parts and look for potential bottlenecks and maybe tell me whether the RAM I picked is fast enough for the CPU and if the memory speed matches the overall build etc.

  2. According to PcPartPicker I might have to update my MoBo BIOS for the CPU to be compatible. Can somebody maybe explain whether this might become a problem and roughly how that works

  3. Are all the parts fully compatible and will there be any bottlenecks? Are there any parts that i could/should save money on?

Here´s some additional information: I would like to have at least 2 Monitors at a later point, but i understand that it will not be possible right now, due to the integrated graphics and only one hdmi port on the motherboard. Im upgrading to a self built PC from a Laptop with Ryzen 5 with integrated graphics so i really dont have any high expectations. I want to play at 1080p resolution with at least 50 FPS in most Indie-Games or minecraft for example (no AAA titles or shooters etc). Im planing to buy the PC some time later this year or in the beginning of next year.

Im planning to go with Windows as my operating system. Im also very comfortable using linux, but its just too unoptimized for gaming to be the right choice for me, i think. (We´ll see with Linus´ current experiment on running linux for a month, whether im right or wrong with that).

Any input is dearly welcome. Please excuse my english and I hope I dont seem impolite. Not a native english speaker. I hope this post isnt too long.

thank you in advance and here is the PPP List:

A few upgrades and cost cuts (monitor set to 0 cause peripherals excluded)

Thank you, this was super helpful. I forgot to mention tho, that i need a case with the glass panel on the right side. Unfortunately, my pc can only be on the left side of my table. Those "inverted" Case designs seem to be super hard to find tho. So id be happy about any suggestion. But thank you for the work you have already done, it was a major help
