Hi everyone

My current home network is being an absolute pain in the a$%e.  I am on Win10 64 bit pro and my partner is on the home version.  Everytime there is a windows update we lose the ability to share files across our network. I have been looking for a solution to this as everytime we fix it because of the outdated SMB 1.0/CFS client. Microsoft unfixes it because of the security hole in it.  Is there a way of us being able to connect without having to pull our hair out evry 14 days or when windows updates?

What are you copying files to and from?

 

You really shouldn't use smb v1 as its a massive security hole. If its betweeon those computers, use the smb v3 sharing.
