Best Ryzen 5000 for music production?

Hello everyone,

 

I'm due an upgrade (from i7 4790k) and decided it's going to be a Ryzen 5000. I am mainly going to use it for music production (mainly hardstyle so lots of Sylenth1, Serum and effects) but can't decide on the CPU. Prices are as followed and all three are available:

 

Ryzen 5 5600x (300,-) 

Ryzen 7 5800x (400,-)

Ryzen 9 5900x (520,-)

 

The 5600x should be adequate for now but I plan to work on this pc for a long time (maybe 10 years or so if I can) so then something like the Ryzen 7 or 9 might be more adequate.

 

Someone suggested to take a look at results from DAWbench (if there are any already), but couldn't figure out how the website works. If anyone has tips, that'd be appreciated.

For true workstation level tasks, especially if you want to use the PC for that long, the 5900x should really be your only option. The multithreaded performance jump over the 5800x for the price is worth it.
