This PC Mod Competition is open to UK, USA, and Canada.

 

Seven people chosen and sent hardware to build a PC if their mod idea best reflects the "Future of Innovation" theme. The seven builds then compete with one another for 1st - 3rd place prizes. The seven people chosen get to keep their PC's! 

 

1. Register: Create an account on and or sign-in to Intel TechMesh, http://techmesh.intel.com/challenge

 

2. Join the PC Mod" Level Up Challenge Group on this page, https://techmesh.intel.com/groups/3041#rules

 

3. Add a project to TechMesh and assign to the PC Mod Level-Up group by November 26th.

I do see three familiar names out of the 21 people who have registered so far. The intent behind this Challenge from my involvement is to reconnect Intel with the PC Mod Community. Intel is supposed to boost more awareness next week.  

 

Some popular questions on other platforms / sites.  

 

Q. Does the design have to be done in AutoCAD or similar 3D software? 

A. Simple hand drawing or sketch is fine. 

 

Q. "What if I never modified a PC, can I still enter?"

A.  It's ok if you are a beginner or if this is your first mod. Mention this when submitting your design, so the judges take that into consideration.
