Higher FPS or Lesser Ghosting

A monitor with Higher FPS but with ghosting or Lower FPS but no ghosting. Backlight strobing seems to be the current method of removing ghosting with BenQ's DyAc performing the best. The comparison is a 240hz monitor with no backlight strobing feature meaning it'll have ghosting and a 144hz BenQ monitor with DyAc meaning it'll have no ghosting. So which is better 240hz with ghosting or 144hz with no ghosting for gaming experience ?
I am currently in a dilemma of purchasing a gaming monitor for myself and i have found a 240hz monitor similarly priced as a 144hz BenQ monitor with DyAc. However I don't which direction i should proceed, to having no ghosting but lesser fps or ghosting with higher fps. I mainly play FPS games like Apex Legends, Valorant and CSGO.

Sounds like one of those personal preference things. Personally the ghosting would be bothersome.

LTT did a great video proving that 60Hz to 144Hz is indeed a competitive advantage, but with very big diminishing returns over 144Hz. However, they did ONLY test refresh rates, not clarity. My own educated guess would be that the 240Hz refresh rate still offers a slight advantage over a 144Hz monitor using DyAc because the input lag advantage is still at the higher refresh rate.

It would be helpful to know what exact monitors you're talking about to make a more informed recommendation.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Also depends what fps you're getting, really I'd pick 240Hz myself but yeah it would be best to try out yourself to see. But also to pick what you can drive too.
