[FIXED] WINDOWS INSTALL STUCK in a LOOP!

Cyguns

Hi, I am trying to install Windows 10 on a new SSD but after the installation process where it says it is finishing up, it sends me back to where it asks me to the beginning of the installation. How do I fix this?

Is the installation media still connected to the computer??? Have you tried unplugging it? Boot priority in BIOS might be preferring the installation media over Windows Boot Manager.

The installation media is still connected and I set the boot order to UEFI: [Name of USB] then to the USB then to the Hard Drive and finally to Windows Boot Manager. The hard drive still has Windows on it. Keep in mind I am trying to install it on an SSD and not the hard drive.

Boot order should go USB -> Boot Manager -> HDD.

When the machine restarts at the end of the install process, try unplugging the USB and it should boot into Windows.

I have unplugged the hard drive now and I will try unplugging the USB after installation.
