So I just received my new case and I pulled everything from my switch 810 and put it in my enthoo primo and now it quits out just as the fans start to get power (like they do a tick and stop) and the pump makes noise for just a moment then nothing. when moving cases I tried switching out my ram because the pump was pushing up against the closest stick so I swiched back to the old ram to see if it would work but nothing changed.

Mobo- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131874(Asus M5A97 R2)

CPU- fx 6300

ram- 4x4gb corsair vengence lp & 2x4gb patriot viper

PSU- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151119 (550W seasonic G)

GPU- Reference 7970

I'm going to pull the motherboard after the WAN show to make sure that I didn't put an extra stand off but what else could it be because I'm stumped. then enthoo primo has a fan splitter that runs using a single pwm fan pin and i figured it might be pulling to much from the CPU fan header so I tried giving it molif power but again no change

Why do you always die right after I fix you?

k so I just unplugged my NZXT hue and it started...do I need more power?

it is a shorting issue,

immediatly

1.remove the MB

2.match up all standoffs to areas on the MB

3.remove any extra standoffs that are not going to be screwed into anything

4. write on a peice of paper where each stand off is and how many you have

5.re seat the MB on the standoffs

6.look at paper

7.match up stick figure diagrams

8.also make sure those screws are nice and hand tight (not crazy tight)

9.make sure it is nice and seated properly and the MB is not loose or anything

10.check your PSU

11.make sure it is properly seated in all of the MB areas (CPU) MB) etc,

12.try another psu

13Reseat all the RAM

14.try dimm 1

15. try dimm 2

16. try stick 1 with dimm 1

17. try stick 1 with dimm 2

18. try stick 2 with dimm 1

19. try stick 2 with dimm 2

20.reseat CPU , make sure it is properly seated

21.make sure the Thermal paste is applied properly

22.make sure the heatsink is latched properly and is tightened correctly

23.make sure again nothing is shorting out.

24.if that all fails retry everything out of the case on a test bench (cardboard box)

25. start removing variables

26.remove GPU , test

27. Remove extras, Fans/fan controllers,lights,etc  TEST

28. Remove extra HDDs if you can TEST

29 do the same as steps 16-19 TEST

30.well if you got this far your stuff is dead.... sorry

Alright so it's still working even after plugging in my HUE. I've checked my stand offs, both sets of ram work now, I'm getting fine temps so I assume my CPU and heatsink are dandy, Could it have been that my Molif connecter to my HUE was not plugged in properly and was shorting my PSU or is that not how Molifs work?
