Nvflash just not doing anything

Kuppi

I have an asus strix gtx 970 which isn't working properly. I have tried pretty much everything except flashing the bios. When i tried to flash it, after it asked me to confirm the update, it just didn't do anything. I have the correct bios for  the card.

What os is that? im getting windows 8 vibes.......

Your replacing the bios with itself, so NVFlash probably thinks theres no reason to flash it, its whats on there already

it's windows 10, I've just customized the title bar.

The same thing happens when trying to flash an older bios for the same card.

Probably what makes the card not work properly also prevents the flash from working.

Maybe. The problem i'm having is that under a significant load the clock speed drops to ~600MHz. Any nvidia control panel settings or overclocking doesn't help at all, except the power limit in msi afterburner, which increases the speed to 700-800MHz
