I'm looking for the smallest POE WAP with decent speed and reliability. I want it to be simple and small enough to carry around in a bag.

At me or quote me, I want to hear your opinion.

Hopefully anything I say is factually correct. Sorry for any mistakes in advanced.

Most aps are pretty small, will easily fit in a bay you can carry around.

Something like the unifi ap ac lite? Rukus r710? TP link omada?

I was hoping for something a fair bit smaller, but I might be reaching a little too far.

Why not just mobile hotspot?

Something to look out for. I have seen smaller, but they won't perform nearly as good as this.

This is specifically for connecting to existing network infrastructure

Gotcha.

@Electronics WizardyI have a quick question for ya, can you use a mesh antenna for a WAP? Because this exists too, made by Ubiquiti. https://store.ui.com/products/unifi-ac-mesh-ap

The Mikrotik mAP https://mikrotik.com/product/RBmAP2nD is the smallest POE input AP I am aware of. I bring it to hotels and have powered it off the walljacks, or the passthrough POE port of an in-wall AP. The downside is it is 2.4GHz N-only, as well as being Mikrotik meaning it has a learning curve. But for a single hotel room, it has the ability to be as good of an AP as can be expected from 2.4GHz N.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

https://www.tp-link.com/ca/business-networking/wall-plate-ap/eap235-wall/

That is about the smallest i've seen.  Its made as a wallplate, but can be used as just a small AP with a POE connection and sitting on a desk.
