Hi Guys,

I've recently built a new PC for a friend of mine. Specs are at the Bottom. After Installing all of the Drivers and other Software we got to an interesting problem:

During Games the PC freezes and becomes unresponsive. So far we've tried ARMA 3 and World of Tanks. As the PC is not responding in any way, we could only turn it off by holding the Power-button.

When we try to reboot, the System does not POST. The Screens stay off. The only thing we get is that the Debug LED shows somtimes CPU and sometimes DRAM issues. After several restarts the System finally boots into Windows.

The Eventlog only shows a sudden Power off, but I was expecting this as we forced it to shut down.

Edit: Turns out the problem was caused by a faulty Mainboard.

So far I've tried these steps:

-reinstalling GPU drivers

-BIOS update

-CMOS reset

-memTest86 froze during the 1 run so i tried 1 Ram stick at a time and then both together again and got no errors.

I've also tried Cinebench r23 for CPU stress testing and during the Test the system runs just fine, but as soon as I press Stop the PC freezes. The same thing happened when stress testing the GPU with FurMark.

We do NOT have any thermal Problems on CPU or GPU.

Does anybody have any ideas what could cause this problem?

PC Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8Gb DDR4-3200 C16

GPU: MSI Geforce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming Z Trio LHR

MB: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus

SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB

PSU: beQuiet! Pure Power 9 700W

OS: Win 10 Pro
