Hey everyone,

Looking at the current improvement in the phone camera space and the increase in the phone photography, I do believe it is high time right now for people to have a NAS setup at home as keeping all the memories in just google or apple cloud services can be too costly as well as bit risky (at least as I feel it).

But also for most people me alike backing up things from phone at regular interval is a task which might be too tidious to endure in the process. As a newbie to all the feild of networking and server architechture, Post insights and tools to start of with personal backup servers and setup.

For the average person? Synology or qnap. End of story. Their software and ease of use make it the logical choice.
