A couple of questions about the "access point" device I just bought

The thing below basically (mine its not the exact same, image is just for better context)

 

Question 1: Is it supposed to heat up? even if it is just a bit warm?

 

Question 2: Are this things made to be on all the time? or should I turn it off when I'm not using it?

 

Hope you can help me with this, thank you in advance. I don't know how to make the image smaller btw

Just leave it means it will not wear it down or something? or get damaged one day from being on all the time, I assume yes maybe but just to double check haha

Just ensure you give it firmware updates if TPLink ever has the diligence

ah mine is not from tp link I said it, they call it (the guy from the store I bought it from at least) "generic" it doesn't really have a brand, could it not work properly if I don't update the firmware or ssomething?
