Can I move m.2 that windows installed on into another slot?

Hi there, I've gigabyte b550 motherboard, which has two m.2 slots, I'm currently using one and I have windows installed on that.

So my question is is it possible to move current m.2 into another slot without any issues and add another m.2 instead of the current one?

The reason I want to do this is, current m.2 is not Gen4 and the other slot doesn't support Gen4, which leaves me in a spot to move current one to another slot. Thanks and I appreciate any feedbacks.

Moved to Storage Devices

Yes, you will be able to move the SSD to a different slot. You may have to change the boot priority order in the BIOS/UEFI to tell it to boot from the other slot, but as long as another drive with an operating system isn't installed in the other slot it should automatically find the OS drive.
