Budget (including currency): 1500 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: schoolwork (Photoshop and possibly light video editing), coding, regular gaming, and work (basic data entry stuff)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Also after a mouse and keyboard however those will be purchased aside from this budget.

Thanks in advance for any help that comes my way

Hey, first build is always the scariest but also fun! A great tool I’ve used a ton is Pc part picker. It makes some of the more complicate part selection easier and for the most part will make your budgeting a bit easier. Also a trick I’ve heard a lot is aim that your graphics card is 40-60% of your budget and work down from there! I know the prices are a bit of a mess but if you play around with pc part picker you’ll have a good idea of what you can get and what you’ll need to accomplish your tasks. Good luck!

I would wait to see what 12th gen intel looks like though. It's coming out in mid-November I believe.
