Install Truenas without a monitor ?

em_lab
Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

They have a board with an IPMI module, which allows for the server to be controlled at the hardware level without an OS loaded over the network, including uploading files to boot from via a virtual disk/USB drive and upgrade the BIOS/UEFI.

It's a feature mostly reserved for server motherboards, though there are some options available for 3rd party implementations, such as PiKVM.

hi can anyone explain me how in this video Linus can install truenas to a NAS / PC without a monitor plugged into the nas ( over network i supose)? But how  ?

Thanks by the way
