Port on XBOX Controller

Hi guys, I have always wondered what that port that looks like an HDMI Port on an XBOX ONE controller is. What would you use that for? I added a picture to the attached files of the one I mean

This is a headset accessory port. What you have here is an XBOX One S (1809) or newer controller. Before that version of the controller, the XBOX One controllers didn't have a standard 3.5mm headset jack, so headsets could only be added with that other port, with a sort of board inbetween.

Ah okay. Thanks for the answer. I never used it because I always use speakers for audio anyway

That port is also intended for other accessories such as keyboards.
