Pebble not recognizing music

im trying to select a song on my phone from my pebble, but when i go to the music tab, it says no music found. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is Bluetooth on for both devices, and are they paired? Typically when I first connect them I need a text or something to go through to speed up the process of detecting everything. I usually give it about five minutes otherwise.
