I Am building a PC for modest to hardcore gaming, I am new to PC building, but have done tons of research, but not all, and I could use some help with making a good rig, here is my PC on PC Part Picker https://pcpartpicker.com/list/btkkF8 I also have a PC case and a separate ssd for extra storage. Also, do you think that the power supply is overkill, or should I keep it for future upgrades? This is a repost to get more answers

Personally if all you are doing is gaming, I think the 5800X is a bit overkill. You can get a 5600X for less and still have great gaming performance. Also looking at your list, it seems like you are a fan of the RGB? If not, you can likely save a little money with other parts such as a different cooler for the CPU. I also think your PSU is fine, it is a bit over kill for your set up but not terribly so. Regarding the Windows key, you can get one for MUCH cheaper from Kinguin or other sources like that. I am also curious why you are going with a 27 inch 1080p monitor? I would limit the size to 24 inches at 1080p personally.

I would look into going to 32 GB ram; mainly so you don't have to mess with ram for longer and ram prices aren't too expensive right now.

Also you get a cheaper windows license from other websites. You can check this one out: https://www.vip-scdkey.com/

Asides from that it looks good to me!

Thanks, I wanted to know if my ram needed an upgrade or not, I'm happy with your help.
