Rendering on laptop with integrated GPU

Can I damage my CPU or GPU if I render video on laptop that is using integrated GPU AMD Radeon Vega 7 ?

Modern processors have their own fail safe and their advance monitoring sensor to keep them away from being overheat, so you'll likely to experience throttling of speed if your APU gets too hot.

 

So, in short, you're not likely to damage your CPU.

 

However, I do caution on heat. Most Laptops these days have the smallest heat sink and fan that are just not enough to dissipate heat under heavy load and your processor will reach its maximum operating temperature faster which will disable its boost speed. If you want a better performance or longer boost speed you might want to increase the fan speed or put your laptop on a laptop cooler with fan.
